Ryosuke Kaga is a self-professed pervert and proud of it — a high school student whose enthusiasm for the erotic side of life is his defining characteristic. One rainy evening he encounters a striking silver-haired girl standing alone getting soaked, and invites her inside. She is Lisara Restall, an elite Shinigami — a Grim Reaper from another realm — who has come to the human world to locate a rare individual called the Singular Man, whose power will allow her to accomplish her mission. To sustain her presence in the human world she needs energy. She forms a contract with Ryosuke and begins drawing that energy from his most abundant resource: his perverted life force. The consequence is that Ryosuke can no longer experience any kind of ecchi stimulation — he literally cannot play H. The only way to recover his abilities is to help Lisara find the Singular Man and complete her mission. He helps. Complications accumulate.

So I Can't Play H is a 12-episode supernatural romantic comedy produced by feel. — the studio behind Yosuga no Sora — directed by Takeo Takahashi (Yosuga no Sora), written by Naruhisa Arakawa, and based on Pan Tachibana's light novel series.

Sentai Filmworks released the complete series as a subtitle-only Blu-ray and DVD on December 31, 2013. No English dub was produced.
