Strike Witches ~Season Two~ Blu-Ray

Six months after the events of Season 1, the Neuroi threat has evolved. A new breed of Neuroi — larger, more resilient, and capable of regenerating after damage — has appeared over Europe, and the 501st Joint Fighter Wing has been reassembled to face it. Yoshika Miyafuji returns with her healing abilities and her signature Shielding, now better-integrated with the unit. New faces appear alongside familiar ones: the ace Hans-Ulrich Rudel analog, Hanna-Justina Marseille, arrives as a wildcard. The season maintains the franchise formula — aerial combat, ensemble dynamics, and the complete absence of lower-body garments — while escalating the stakes toward a final confrontation with the season's central Neuroi threat.

Strike Witches 2 is the 12-episode second season produced by AIC Spirits — replacing Season 1's Gonzo — directed again by Kazuhiro Takamura, with series composition credited to Striker Unit. It aired in Japan from July to September 2010 and was simulcast by both Crunchyroll and FUNimation. The second season features visibly improved production values over Season 1. FUNimation released the Complete Second Season on October 2, 2012 as a 4-disc Limited Edition BD+DVD combo — 2 Blu-ray + 2 DVD discs — with an artbox sized to hold both Season 1 and Season 2 sets together. A S.A.V.E. edition and an Essentials Blu-ray followed in later years.
