Strike Witches : The Movie - Blu-Ray & DVD

Yoshika Miyafuji saved the world and lost her magic doing it. Back home in Japan, she studies medicine at her family clinic, having accepted that her days as a Witch are over. Then a letter arrives from her father — long believed dead — directing her to Europe, where a Neuroi nest unlike anything the military has encountered is causing civilian suffering that conventional forces cannot address. Getting there means crossing occupied territory alone. Once there, it means reuniting with the 501st Joint Fighter Wing — whose members have scattered since the war's end — and finding a way to fight without the powers that made her exceptional. The film is set after Season 2 and functions as a direct sequel, providing the 501st with a theatrical send-off before the franchise continued with new units and new witches.

Strike Witches: The Movie is a 95-minute theatrical film directed by Kazuhiro Takamura — who directed both television seasons — produced by AIC ASTA and Kadokawa, and based on Fumikane Shimada's Strike Witches franchise. Released in Japan on March 17, 2012, it earned approximately $2 million at the Japanese box office.
