Set in the world of Az, a land scarred by an ancient conflict known as the Magitech Rebellion, the story follows Tevi, an outgoing beastskin girl with rabbit ears who ventures out from her home in search of legendary artifacts called Astral Gears — items that store mana and have become an obsession of her father. What begins as a personal quest quickly spirals into a sweeping adventure involving angels, demons, rival factions, a self-proclaimed nemesis named Vena, and a conspiracy that stretches back to the very roots of the world's history. The game features a large cast of fully voiced characters brought to life by prominent names from the Japanese voice acting industry, a story-rich narrative told through an enormous volume of animated dialogue scenes, and a world whose lore deepens the further Tevi ventures from home.

TEVI blends three distinct gameplay styles into a single seamless experience: Metroidvania exploration across 40+ interconnected areas, fast-paced hack-and-slash melee combat, and bullet hell boss encounters. Tevi herself excels in up-close combat, wielding a dagger and an oversized wrench in rapid, combo-driven attacks scored in real time by a letter grading system. Her two floating orbitar companions — Celia and Sable — handle ranged attacks and support magic, switching between offensive, protective, and burst damage modes on the fly. Over 300 items and equipment pieces are scattered across the world, and a deep sigil customization system lets players build entirely unique playstyles by combining sigils that strengthen, add, or fundamentally change existing abilities. Boss fights are the centerpiece of the experience — each one is a unique multi-phase spectacle demanding pattern recognition and precise dodging, with a BREAK system that rewards relentless offense with windows of devastating damage. Six difficulty settings accommodate newcomers and veterans alike.
