They are thrust into a desperate cosmic race to prevent Valgaav, a vengeful ancient dragon rogue, from summoning Dark Star Darkon, an extra-dimensional deity bent on resetting the universe to absolute nothingness. Forged with unmatched slapstick humor and intense inter-dimensional warfare, the series delivers a grand, satisfying climax to the original Slayers television trilogy. 

Slayers TRY (Season 3) is a 26-episode high-fantasy adventure series produced by Easy Film (E&G Films) directed by Takashi Watanabe, written by Jiro Takano, and built upon the expansive universe created in Hajime Kanzaka’s iconic light novels. It originally aired on TV Tokyo from April to September 1997, marking the first season to rely on an entirely original television narrative rather than a direct print adaptation. The high-energy score was composed by Osamu Tezuka, perfectly framing the season's transition from standard magical mishaps into deep, planetary lore.

The definitive English dub was produced by Central Park Media under their Software Sculptors home video label. This is the Central Park Media 4-Disc DVD Box Set — containing all 26 episodes across 4 DVDs, featuring a total runtime of approximately 600 minutes, and rated 13+.
