Transformers: Fall of Cybertron - Playstation 3

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for the PlayStation 3 is the direct sequel to War for Cybertron and the conclusion of High Moon Studios' Cybertron saga. The Autobots are losing the war. Drained of Energon and outnumbered, they are preparing to flee their dying home planet aboard the Ark when Megatron launches one final devastating offensive. The story weaves between Autobot and Decepticon perspectives across 13 missions, each built around a specific character and their unique capabilities. Optimus Prime leads a desperate rearguard defense, Cliffjumper goes on a stealth mission, Jazz provides sniper support, and Grimlock rampages in his T-Rex Dinobot form with fire breath and crushing melee power.

The third-person shooter gameplay expands significantly over the original. Weapons are upgradeable at Teletran-1 kiosks found throughout each mission, with upgrades including fire rate improvements of up to 75%. A Stealth Force mode carries over from previous High Moon titles, allowing players to fire weapons while in vehicle form at the cost of movement speed. The Combaticons can merge into the massive combined form Bruticus for sequences of overwhelming scale. Every character's level is specifically designed around their transformation and abilities, making each mission feel genuinely distinct from the last.

Online multiplayer supports up to 12 players with a fully customizable Transformer creator that lets players build their own character using parts unlocked through an XP progression system. A four-player cooperative Escalation horde mode rounds out the multiplayer package. Developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision, Fall of Cybertron released on August 21, 2012.
