Triage X - Blu-ray

Society is infected with a disease — criminal masterminds, drug lords, and corrupt politicians so entrenched in power that the law cannot touch them. Mochizuki General Hospital has a solution. Black Label is a secret vigilante organization operating out of the hospital, staffed by nurses, doctors, and students who moonlight as an elite assassination unit tasked with excising the cancer from society by any means necessary.

Arashi Mikami is a high school student and Black Label operative whose extraordinary combat abilities conceal a traumatic past involving the head of the organization and a secret embedded in his own body. The team includes Mikoto Kiba, a cheerful nurse whose weapons of choice are heavy-caliber firearms; her older sister Sayo, an ice-cold swordswoman; Oriha, a popular idol who specializes in explosives; and Yuko, who operates Arashi's communications. Their cases bring them against increasingly dangerous targets, and a rival faction called Syringe begins operating in the same city — hunting the same criminals, with the same methods, for reasons that aren't immediately clear. 

Triage X is a 10-episode action series plus one OVA episode produced by Xebec — the studio behind Nadesico, Dual!, Love Hina, Sorcerer Hunters— co-directed by Akio Takami and Takao Kato, and based on Shōji Satō's manga serialized in Monthly Dragon Age under Fujimi Shobo. Satō is also known as the artist for Highschool of the Dead. 

Subtitle only — no English dub was produced. The original Sentai Filmworks Sub.Blu-ray was released January 24, 2017; a new complete collection Blu-ray reissue was released June 6, 2023.
