The series takes place on Mermaid Island, a mysterious place where young girls who possess the ability to transform into weapons—known as "Virus"—are sent for training. These girls are paired with “Partners,” individuals who are tasked with awakening their full potential. The girls’ powers are activated through intimate physical contact, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The story follows Ranka and Mikoto, two new girls who end up on the island. Ranka is shy, reserved, and constantly trying to avoid the limelight, while Mikoto is a fierce fighter who has an unshakable belief in herself and her abilities. Together, they must navigate the complex world of Virus girls, face intense combat challenges, and learn about their true powers—all while dealing with the dangerous and seductive forces surrounding them.
